Digital Citizenship (questions 4-6)

Questions 4-6
  • Decorating of devices - can students put any background and homescreen they want?
We believe that students should be able to choose they're own background and homescreen as long it doesn't break any rules or offend any body.
  • What will be the limits on photos and movies?
You should never take a photo of someone without their permission because some parents don't want the their child on the internet incase of cyber bullying. So the general rule of thumb should be to just to not take a picture or video of someone else without their permission.
  • When can they be on social media and communicating with others?
We think kids should have a meeting with their parents or guardians and decide on a an age that they can communicate with other's and go on social networking programs such as facebook and instagram. Their parents should be able to come up with a reasonable age to go on social networking.
