- Consequences of off-task behaviour in class.
We think that the consequences for off-task behaviour in class should be confiscation of the devices and perhaps a three strike rule. This can be hard to enforce though and if we want this to succeed there will need to be a certain amount of trust.
- Limits on personal work on a device.
We think that if your using your device properly and effectively you should be able to do as much work as you like on the device. A smart device has many more tools than a pen and paper so therefor children of all ages should be using those tools.
- Charging of devices
We think that the charging of a device is entirely the responsibility of the person with the device. If the person does not have charger he/she can ask for a charger but cannot force someone to give them a charger or take one without asking.
- Should kids have to power down a certain point
Yes. We think that if kids are on their devices late at night it will affect their sleep and thereby affect their awareness at school.
