Digital Citizenship (questions 1-3)

Questions 1-3
  • Who is responsible for the technology or the device - what does that entail?
We think everyone is responsible for their own devices, you can't always rely on other people for things, so you should have to take responsibility for your own property.
  • Who is in charge of accounts and where do they keep their passwords?
You should also be in charge of your own password, if you give all the passwords to one person, first of all, he could at any time get into your personal accounts, second he could also forget the passwords, and now you'd be screwed. If you really need something to make sure you don't forgot your passwords, you could write them somewhere on a sticky note, or save a file somewhere that you could find at anytime. But don't give your passwords to someone else.
  • Discuss the idea of password literacies
Their are plenty of ways to make a safe password, we think the safest  technique involves 3 simple steps: 1. choose a sentence that is easy to remember and take the first letter of each word in this sentence. Example: Method to my madness would be Mtmm. 2. Add special characters. Example: !Mtmm# . 3. Customize it to the specific website. For example if it is a password for Facebook the add an Fcb at the end of your password. Example: !Mtmm#Fcb .
